Takhrij Hadith 629: "Beware of the doors of…"

Beware of the doors of the ruler and those who surround them, for the people closest to the doors of the ruler and those around them are the farthest from Allah. Whoever gives preference to a ruler over Allah, Allah will place tribulation in his heart, outwardly and inwardly, remove scrupulous piety from him, and leave him bewildered.
