Takhrij Hadith 683: "Protect yourselves from the Fire,…"
On the authority of Abu Bakr, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ say:
“
Protect yourselves from the Fire, even if only with half of a date (given in charity), for it straightens crookedness, and it wards off hunger from the hungry just as it wards it off from the one who is full.”
