Takhrij Hadith 696: "Indeed, the angel on the…"
On the authority of Abu Umamah, who narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“
Indeed, the angel on the left delays recording the deed for six hours for a Muslim servant who commits a mistake or a sin. If he feels remorse and seeks Allah's forgiveness for it, the sin is discarded; otherwise, it is recorded as one sin.”
