On the authority of Abu al-Dardaʾ, who said:

“

The Prophet ﷺ saw me walking ahead of Abu Bakr and said: "Are you walking in front of Abu Bakr? The sun has neither risen nor set, after the Prophets and Messengers, upon anyone better than Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him" .
