On the authority of Khalid ibn al-Walid, Yazid ibn Abi Sufyan, Shurahbil ibn Hasanah, and 'Amr ibn al-'Aas—all of whom heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say:

Perform the ablution thoroughly. Woe to the heels from the Fire!

”
