Takhrij Hadith 724: "A beggar came to a…"

A beggar came to a woman while she had a morsel of food in her mouth. She took the morsel out of her mouth, spat it out, and then gave it to the beggar. Soon afterward, she was blessed with a son. When the boy had grown up, a wolf came and carried him away. She ran after the wolf, crying: “My son! My son!” Then Allah commanded an angel: “Catch up with the wolf, take the boy from its mouth, and say to his mother: "Allah conveys His peace to you, and says: “This morsel for that morsel".
