Takhrij Hadith 730: "The Prophet ﷺ was asked…"

The Prophet ﷺ was asked about a man who finds wetness [upon waking] but does not remember having a wet dream. He replied: "He must perform the ritual bath". He was then asked about a man who believes he had a wet dream but finds no wetness. He replied: "No ritual bath is required of him". Umm Sulaym then asked: "If a woman experiences that, must she perform the ritual bath?" He replied: "Yes. Indeed, women are the counterparts of men".
