Takhrij Hadith 767: "She bought a cushion containing…"
Al-Qasim ibn Muhammad narrated from ‘Aisha, the Mother of the Believers, may Allah be pleased with her, that she told him:
“
She bought a cushion containing images. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw it, he stood at the door and did not enter. I recognized the expression of displeasure on his face, so I said: “O Messenger of Allah, I repent to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ. What sin have I committed?” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “What is this cushion?” I replied: “I bought it for you to sit on and recline upon”. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Indeed, the makers of these images will be punished on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said to them: "Give life to what you have created". He then added: “Indeed, the angels do not enter a house in which there are images”.”
