Takhrij Hadith 832: "The deeds of some people…"
On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ :
“
The deeds of some people will be raised like mountains, and they will say: “O Lord, what have we done to deserve these good deeds?” Allah will say: “These are due to your patience in the face of trials”. Then they will say: “Would that our entire lives had been nothing but trials”.”
