On the authority of Abu Umamah, he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“
Close your doors, turn your vessels upside down, tie your water-skins, and extinguish your lamps; for indeed, they [the jinn] have not been permitted to climb over your walls and enter upon you.”
