On the authority of ‘Umar, who said: A man came and asked:
“
"O Messenger of Allah, which deed in Islam is most beloved to Allah?" He replied: "Performing the prayer at its prescribed time. Whoever abandons the prayer has no religion, and prayer is the pillar of the religion."”
