Takhrij Hadith 879: "A Bedouin came to the…"

A Bedouin came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: "Have you ever been afflicted with Umm Muldam?" He replied: "What is Umm Muldam?" He ﷺ said: "It is a fever that burns between the skin and the flesh." The man said: "I have never experienced that." He ﷺ then asked: "Have you ever suffered from a headache?" He replied: "What is a headache?" He ﷺ said: "It is the throbbing of the veins in a person's head." The man said: "I have never experienced that." When he turned to leave, the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever wishes to look at a man from the people of Hell, let him look at this man."
