‘Abdullah narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said:
“
It is awful for one to say: “I have forgotten such-and-such verse”. Rather, he has been caused to forget. So keep refreshing your memory of the Qur'an, for it escapes from the hearts of men more swiftly than camels break free from their tethers.”
