Takhrij Hadith 927: "He came as part of…"
On the authority of Salamah ibn Sa‘d :
“
He came as part of a delegation to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ along with a group from his household and his children. They sought permission to enter, and when they were admitted, the Prophet ﷺ asked: " Who are these?" It was said to him: " This is the delegation of ‘Anazah." He said: " Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! What a fine tribe is ‘Anazah! They are wronged yet granted victory. Welcome, O people of Shu‘ayb and the maternal relatives of Musa. Ask for what you need, O Salamah." Salamah said: "I have come to ask you about the obligations upon me concerning camels, sheep, and goats." So he informed him. Salamah then remained with him for a short while before asking permission to depart. The Prophet ﷺ said to him: "Depart." No sooner had he stood up than the Prophet ﷺ supplicated: "O Allah, grant ‘Anazah sufficiency—not poverty, nor extravagant abundance."”
