Takhrij Hadith 938: "Allah appoints two angels over…"

Allah appoints two angels over His believing servant to record his deeds. When he dies, the two angels entrusted with recording his deeds say: "He has died. Will You grant us permission to ascend to heaven?" Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, says: "My heaven is filled with My angels glorifying Me." They say: "Then shall we remain on earth?" Allah says: "My earth is filled with My creatures glorifying Me." They ask: " Then where?" Allah says: " Remain at the grave of My servant, glorify Me, praise Me, magnify Me, and proclaim My oneness, and record these for My servant until the Day of Resurrection."
