Takhrij Hadith 951: ""What did you do last…"
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to ‘Ali, peace be upon him:
“
"What did you do last night, O Abu al-Hasan?" He replied: "I prayed one thousand rakahs before I went to sleep". The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, asked: "How was that?" ‘Ali, peace be upon him, replied: "O Messenger of Allah, I heard you say: Whoever says three times before going to sleep: 'Allah does whatever He wills by His power and decrees whatever He wills by His might' will have prayed one thousand rakahs". He said: "You have spoken the truth".”
