Takhrij Hadith 976: "When Allah created Paradise, He…"
On the authority of Ibn ‘Umar, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said:
“
When Allah created Paradise, He said to it: "Speak". It replied: "Blessed is the one who enters me". Then the Almighty said: "By My Might and My Majesty, eight types of people shall not dwell in you: one who is addicted to wine, one who persists in fornication, a qattat—that is, a talebearer—, a cuckold, a policeman, an effeminate man, one who severs the ties of kinship, and one who says: By Allah, I will certainly do such-and-such, then does not fulfill it".”
