Takhrij Hadith 978: "O son of Adam! I…"
Allah, the Exalted, said:
“
O son of Adam! I placed you in your mother's womb, and I covered your face with a membrane so that you would not be repelled by the womb. I turned your face toward your mother's back so that the smell of food would not harm you. I appointed for you a support on your right and a support on your left. As for the one on your right, it is the liver, and as for the one on your left, it is the spleen. I taught you how to move and how to remain still in your mother's womb. Is there anyone besides Me who is able to do that? Then, when your appointed term was completed, I inspired the angel entrusted with the wombs to bring you forth, and he brought you out upon a feather of his wing. You had neither a tooth with which to bite, nor a hand with which to grasp, nor a foot with which to walk. Then I caused two delicate veins to flow in your mother's breast, producing pure milk, warm in winter and cool in summer. I cast your love into the hearts of your parents, so they would not be satisfied until you were satisfied, nor would they sleep until you slept. Then, when your back grew strong and your strength increased, you confronted Me with acts of disobedience in the privacy of your seclusion and felt no shame before Me. Yet despite all that, if you call upon Me, I answer you; if you ask of Me, I give to you; and if you repent to Me, I accept your repentance.”
