There are three whose prayer do not rise more than a hand span above their heads: A man who leads people (in prayer) when they do not like him; a woman who has spent the night with her husband angry with her; and two brothers who have severed contact with one another.
Indeed, among the greatest of sins to Allah is a man who marries a woman, and when he has satisfied his need from her, he divorces her and takes back her dowry; and a man who employs a man, and then consumes his wages; and another who kills an animal uselessly.
This verse: {Your wives are like farmland for you} [Al-Baqarah: 223] was revealed regarding some of the Ansar who came and asked the Prophet ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied: 'Approach her in any manner you wish, as long as it is in the vagina.
I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seeking to marry, and he said: 'Go to such-and-such [family] and look what is with them (the woman), for it is more likely to establish lasting affection between you. If you are pleased with her, I will marry you to her.' So he went to them, greeted them, and said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me and commanded that they let me see you.' She said: 'Yes.' Then she revealed herself from her curtain and said: 'Look.' So I married her, and I never married any woman more beloved to me than her, though I married sixty women.
I asked: 'O Messenger of Allah, what of our wives is permissible for us to approach and what should we avoid?' He replied: 'Approach your tilth (wife) however you wish, and feed her when you feed yourself, and clothe her when you clothe yourself, and do not revile her face, and do not strike her.
An orphan girl must be consulted regarding herself [for her marriage], and her silence is her consent.
That he proposed to a relative for his daughter’s hand in marriage. The girl's mother preferred Ibn Umar, but her father preferred a orphan of his. The father went ahead and married her to the orphan. The mother then came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned that to him, so the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Consult women regarding [the marriage of] their daughters.
A previously married woman can speak for herself, and a virgin’s consent is her silence
One day, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed the woman; he exhorted them and commanded them to fear Allah and to obey their husbands. Then he said: “Some of you will enter Paradise” and he joined his fingers together, “while some of you will be the fuel for Hellfire”, then he separated his fingers. Al-Maridah or Al-Maridiyyah asked : “O Messenger of Allah, why is that?” He replied : “You are ungrateful to your husbands, you curse excessively, and you procrastinate in doing good” .
