Amro reported:
“
A man invited Abdullah bin Mas'ud may Allah be pleased with him to a wedding feast. When he arrived, he heard entertainment, so he did not enter. He was asked: What is the matter with you? He replied: I heard the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him say: Whoever swells the ranks of a people is one of them, and whoever is pleased with the actions of a people is a partner to the one who did them.”
