Takhrij Hadith 1046: "When he was taken on…"

When he was taken on the Isra to the high heavens and reached the Sublime Throne ,he intended to remove his sandals, drawing an analogy from what Allah said to our prophet Moses when He spoke to him: So remove your sandals, indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. Then, a call came from the Most High: O Muhammad! Do not remove your sandals, for the Throne is honored by your arrival wearing sandals, and it boasts over others, seeking blessings. So the Prophet ascended to the Throne while his sandals were on his feet, and through that, he attained glory and high standing.
