Takhrij Hadith 1148: "Several men were martyred on…"

Several men were martyred on the day of Uhud, leaving their wives behind. These women lived near one another in a neighborhood, so they came to the Prophet ﷺ and said 'O Messenger of Allah, we feel lonely at night, so we sleep together at the house of one of us, and when morning comes, we return to our respective homes? The Prophet ﷺ replied 'Converse together at the home of one of you for as long as you wish, but when you intend to sleep, let every woman return to her own house.
