Takhrij Hadith 1232: "O Messenger of Allah, if…"
On the authority of Anas, who said: Umm Habibah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, said:
“
O Messenger of Allah, if a woman among us has had two husbands in this world, then dies and enters Paradise along with both of them, which of them will she belong to—the first or the last?" He ﷺ said: "She will be given the choice, and she will choose the one who had the best character toward her in this world, and he will be her husband in Paradise. O Umm Habibah, good character has attained the best of this world and the best of the Hereafter."”
