Takhrij Hadith 1247: "Abu Bakr and 'Umar proposed…"
On the authority of Buraydah, who said:
“
Abu Bakr and 'Umar proposed marriage to Fatimah, but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "She is still young." Then 'Ali proposed marriage to her, and he gave her to him in marriage.”
