Takhrij Hadith 1354: "The Children of Israel used…"

The Children of Israel used to bathe naked, looking at one another, while Moses would bathe alone. They said: “By Allah, nothing prevents Moses from bathing with us except that he has scrotal hernia.” So one time he went to bathe and placed his garment on a stone. The stone ran off with his garment, so Moses went after it, calling: “My garment, O stone! My garment, O stone!” until the Children of Israel saw Moses and said: “By Allah, there is nothing wrong with Moses.” He then took his garment and began striking the stone. Abu Hurayrah said: “By Allah, there are marks left on the stone from his striking it—six or seven blows.”
