The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a man in the marketplace who was selling food at a price lower than that of the market. He said to him:“Are you selling in our market at a price lower than ours?” The man replied: “Yes”. He then asked: “ With patience and seeking reward from Allah?” The man said:“Yes”. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Glad tidings! For the one who brings goods to our market is like one who strives in the path of Allah, while the one who hoards in our market is like one who deviates from the Book of Allah”.
