Takhrij Hadith 1455: "When a servant curses something,…"
On the authority of Abu al-Darda, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“
When a servant curses something, the curse ascends to the heavens, but the gates of heaven are closed against it. Then it descends to the earth, but its gates are closed against it. Then it turns to the right and the left, and when it finds no way through, it returns to the one who was cursed. If he deserves it, it remains with him; otherwise, it returns to the one who uttered it.”
