Hadith 1514
Language:

Takhrij Hadith 1514: "O Ali, do not sit…"

It is narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he said:

“
O Ali, do not sit among those who are sleeping, and do not sleep among those who are sitting, and do not place your hand on your cheek, and do not interlace your fingers, and do not bite bread as you bite meat, and do not eat clay, and do not look into the mirror at night, and do not wear the shirt inside out, and do not blow into hot food, nor into a cup of water, and do not look at what comes out from you, and do not yawn except with your hand over your mouth, and do not smell your food, and do not make your morsel large, and do not eat in darkness. O Ali, whoever sends prayers upon me ten times after washing the feet during ablution, Allah relieves his distress and sorrow and answers his supplication. Also, whoever recites immediately after ablution: Indeed, We sent it down during the Night of Decree, Allah records for him with every purification the worship of fifty years. O Ali, whoever says every day twenty-one times: O Allah, bless death and what comes before it and what comes after it, Allah Almighty will not call him to account. Do not be distracted by the worldly life, everything passes away except righteous deeds. O Ali, hold firmly to the recitation of Surah Ya-Sin. Whoever recites it while hungry will be satisfied, and not thirsty except that he will be quenched, and not unclothed except that Allah will clothe him, and not unmarried except that he will marry, and not fearful except that Allah will grant him safety, and not sick except that he will recover, and not imprisoned except that Allah will release him from his imprisonment, and not a traveler except that Allah will aid him in his journey, and it is not recited over a dead person except that Allah lightens for him the agonies of death and the punishment and torment
