Takhrij Hadith 1627: "I came to the Messenger…"

I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) during one of his Umrahs at al-Marwah and said: O Messenger of Allah, I am a woman who buys and sells. When I want to buy something, I offer a price lower than what I am actually willing to pay, then I raise it little by little until I reach the price I want. And when I want to sell something, I ask for a price higher than what I am actually willing to accept, then I lower it little by little until I reach the price I want. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not do that, O Qaylah. When you want to buy something, offer the price you want from the beginning, whether it is accepted or refused. And when you want to sell something, ask for the price you want from the beginning, whether it is given to you or withheld.
