Takhrij Hadith 1754: "Beware of indulgence in luxury,…"
It was narrated from Muadh ibn Jabal that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent him to Yemen, he said:
“
Beware of indulgence in luxury, for the servants of Allah are not those who live in luxury.”
