Takhrij Hadith 1792: "Islam is unclothed; its garment…"
Al-Husayn ibn ʿAli (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“
Islam is unclothed; its garment is modesty, its adornment is faithfulness, its manliness is righteous deeds, and its foundation is wara' (abstaining from doubtful matters). Everything has a foundation, and the foundation of Islam is love for the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and love for his household.”
