Hadith 1820: "I am the son of the two who..."

It is narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

“

I am the son of the two who were to be sacrificed. (Referring to Isma'il, whom Ibrahim was commanded to sacrifice, and 'Abdullah, the Prophet's ﷺ father, whom 'Abd al-Muttalib vowed to sacrifice but ransomed.)

”
