A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: “O Messenger of Allah, I come to you as a representative of women. Allah has prescribed jihad for men: if they endure hardship, they are rewarded, and if they are killed, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision. But we, the assembly of women, take care of them, so what share do we have in that?” The Prophet ﷺ replied: “Convey to the women you meet that obeying the husband and acknowledging his rights is equal to that, though few of you do it”.
