Takhrij Hadith 1901: "I prayed ‘Asr with ‘Uthman…"

I prayed ‘Asr with ‘Uthman ibn ‘Affan, the Commander of the Believers. He saw a tailor in a corner of the mosque and ordered him to be removed. It was said to him: “O Commander of the Believers, he sweeps the mosque, closes the door, and sometimes sprinkles it with water.” ‘Uthman said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: ‘Keep your craftsmen away from your mosques.'"
