Takhrij Hadith 1911: "Woe to the one who…"
On the authority of Mu‘awiyah ibn Haydah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say:
“
Woe to the one who speaks and tells lies so as to make people laugh thereby. Woe to him! Woe to him!”
