Takhrij Hadith 1919: "It is reported that a…"

It is reported that a young man from the Ansar was overcome by fear of the Fire. Whenever the Fire was mentioned, he would weep until this fear kept him confined to his home. This was mentioned to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so he went to him at his home. When he entered and the young man saw him, he embraced him and suddenly fell dead. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Prepare your companion for burial, for terror has torn apart his liver.”
