Hadith 1999: "Ghaylan ibn Salamah al-Thaqafi embraced Islam while he..."

ʿAbdullah ibn ʿUmar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated:

“

Ghaylan ibn Salamah al-Thaqafi embraced Islam while he had ten wives during the pre-Islamic period, and they embraced Islam along with him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed him to choose four of them.

”
