Takhrij Hadith 2006: "My example and the example…"

My example and the example of the prophets before me is like that of a man who built a house, making it beautiful, splendid, and complete, except for the place of one brick in one of its corners. People began to walk around it, admiring the building, and saying: “If only you had placed a brick here, your building would be complete!” Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “I am that brick.”
