Takhrij Hadith 2103: "Indeed, hearts have periods of…"
On the authority of ʿAbdullah ibn Masʿud (may Allah be pleased with him), who said:
“
Indeed, hearts have periods of enthusiasm and receptiveness, and they have periods of turning away and withdrawing. So speak to people when they are receptive to you.”
