Takhrij Hadith 2106: "Your smiling in the face…"
Narrated by Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“
Your smiling in the face of your brother is an act of charity for you. Your enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil is an act of charity. Your guiding a man in a land where he has lost his way is an act of charity for you. Your helping a man with poor eyesight is an act of charity for you. Your removing a stone, a thorn, or a bone from the road is an act of charity for you. And your pouring water from your bucket into your brother’s bucket is an act of charity for you.”
