Takhrij Hadith 2140: "Fātimah (may Allah be pleased…"
‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated:
“
Fātimah (may Allah be pleased with her) complained about the effect of the grinding-stone on her hand. She went to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to ask him for a servant, but she did not find him. So she mentioned this to ‘Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). When he arrived, she informed him of it. ‘Ali said: "He came to us while we had already lain down to sleep. I began to get up, but he said, 'Stay where you are.' He then sat between us until I felt the coolness of his feet against my chest. He said, 'Shall I not direct you both to something better for you than a servant? When you go to bed, say Allāhu akbar (Allah is the Greatest) thirty-four times, Subḥān Allāh (Glory be to Allah) thirty-three times, and Alḥamdu lillāh (All praise belongs to Allah) thirty-three times. This is better for you than a servant.'””
