Takhrij Hadith 218: "A man came to the…"

A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with his daughter and said: “O Messenger of Allah, this daughter of mine refuses to marry.” So the Prophet ﷺ said to her: “Obey your father.” She replied: “By the One who sent you with the truth, I will not marry until you inform me what right a husband has over his wife.” He ﷺ said: “The right of a husband over his wife is such that if he had a sore and she were to lick it, she still would not have fulfilled his right.”
