Takhrij Hadith 256: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ…"

Umm al-Mundhir narrated:

“
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited me accompanied by ‘Ali, and we had some hanging clusters of dates. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ began to eat from them, and ‘Ali joined him in eating, whereupon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to ‘Ali: "Stop, stop, O ‘Ali, for you are still recovering from illness". So ‘Ali sat down while the Prophet ﷺ continued to eat. I then prepared some chard and barley for them, and the Prophet ﷺ said: "O ‘Ali, eat from this, for it is more suitable for you.
