Hadith 273
Language:

Takhrij Hadith 273: "I met Abu Dharr at…"

Al-Maʿrur reported:

“
I met Abu Dharr at al-Rabadhah while he was wearing a garment, and his servant was wearing a similar garment. I asked him about that, and he said: “I insulted a man and reproached him for his mother. The Prophet ﷺ then said to me: “O Abu Dharr, did you reproach him for his mother? You are a man in whom there are still some traits of Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance). Your servants are your brothers, whom Allah has placed under your authority. Whoever has his brother under his control should feed him from what he eats, clothe him from what he wears, and not burden him with what overcomes him. If you do burden them, then help them”.
