Hadith 324
Language:

Takhrij Hadith 324: "I saw ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab…"

Kharashah ibn al-Hurr said:

“
I saw ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab when a young man passed by him with his lower garment hanging low and dragging along the ground. ‘Umar called him and said: ‘Are you menstruating?’ The young man replied: ‘O Commander of the Faithful! Do men menstruate?’ ‘Umar said: ‘Then why have you let your lower garment hang down over your feet?’.Then he called for a blade, gathered the end of the young man's garment, and cut off the part that hung below the ankles. Kharashah said: “It is as though I can still see the threads upon his heels.
