Takhrij Hadith 371: "We were with the Messenger…"
Muhammad ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im narrated from his father, who said:
“
We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the road to Makkah when he said: “The people of Yemen are coming to you like clouds; they are among the best people on earth”. A man from the Ansar said: “O Messenger of Allah, except us?” The Prophet ﷺ remained silent. Then he repeated it, and again the Prophet ﷺ remained silent. Then he repeated it a third time, whereupon the Prophet ﷺ said quietly: “Except you”.”
