Takhrij Hadith 426: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ…"
On the authority of Ibn Buraydah, from his father, who said:
“
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell ill until his temples grew thin , and the signs of his illness were visible upon him. Then, Jibril came to him and said: “Your Lord has sent me to perform Ruqyah (spiritual healing through supplication) upon you”. He said: “So take it: In the name of Allah, I perform Ruqyah upon you, from everything that harms you, and from the evil of every envious person, I perform Ruqyah upon you”. He said: Jibril repeated it to him three times, then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recovered.”
