Takhrij Hadith 468: "Jibril came to the Prophet…"

Jibril came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: O Muhammad, I have never been sent to any prophet more beloved to me than you. Shall I teach you some of the names of Allah—among the names most beloved to Him to be supplicated by? Say: O Light of the heavens and the earth; O Adornment of the heavens and the earth; O Compeller of the heavens and the earth; O Support of the heavens and the earth; O Originator of the heavens and the earth; O Sustainer of the heavens and the earth; O Possessor of Majesty and Honor; O Responder to those who cry out for help; O Aid of those who seek assistance; O Ultimate Goal of the worshippers; O Reliever of the distressed; O Comforter of the grief-stricken; O Answerer of the supplication of those in desperate need; O Remover of hardship; O God of all the worlds; O Most Merciful of those who show mercy. Through You, every need is fulfilled.
