Takhrij Hadith 510: "A leather mat from the…"

A leather mat from the spoils of war was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and it was said: “O Messenger of Allah, this is for you, so that you may shade yourself from the sun with it”. He replied: “Would you like your Prophet to shade himself with a mat from the Fire?”.
