Takhrij Hadith 585: "The nations will soon call…"

The nations will soon call one another to attack you from every horizon, just as diners gather around their platter”. We asked: “O Messenger of Allah, will that be because of our small numbers on that day?” He replied: “No, you will be numerous on that day, but you will be like the scum carried by a torrent. Allah will remove the fear of you from the hearts of your enemies, and He will cast Al-Wahn (enfeeblement) into your hearts”. We asked: “And what is Al-Wahn, O Messenger of Allah?” He replied: “The love of this world, and the hatred of death”.
